Submission Deadlines for Symposium
Final Paper Submission [Closed] All final paper must be sent in via our Submission Portal by March 14, 2008. Authors are also required to complete the Copyright Transfer and Speaker Biography form and sent it via email to apemc@cma.sg.
Post-Deadline Paper Submission [Closed] Our Submission Portal is open for Post-Deadline Papers. This is in consideration of the regular paper submission being during a holiday period and some potential authors may have missed the regular submission deadline. The submission deadline for post-deadline papers is March 30, 2008 and the notice of acceptance will be April 15, 2008. Post-deadline papers can be submitted as a one-page abstract including the paper title, author affiliations, contact details, and a novelty statement. Post-deadline papers shall be presented during the poster sessions and will not be included in the symposium proceedings.
Symposium Topics
Paper Submission (for Regular Symposium Sessions, Topical Meetings and Special Sessions) Authors are requested to submit by December 7, 2007 (Extending to December 23, 2007):
During the submission procedure via the submission portal, authors will be prompted to enter a short paragraph describing the novelty of their contribution. In order to expedite the review process, it is mandatory that the authors provide the above information. Incomplete submissions will not be considered for review. Submissions can only be accepted electronically via the EMC ASIA PACIFIC 2008 Submission Portal in Portable Document Format (PDF). Font embedding must be IEEE Xplore compatible. For typesetting, LaTeX and Word templates are available. Hardcopies or any format other than PDF will not be accepted.

Accepted Papers Notifications of paper acceptance and the necessary information to electronically submit the final version of the paper will be sent to the authors not later than January 30, 2008. Final papers must not exceed four pages including figures, table and references. The templates provided for typesetting the preliminary paper also apply for the final paper. The hard deadline for final paper submission (exclusively through EMC ASIA PACIFIC 2008 Submission Portal) is March 14, 2008. Accepted Papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library and is EI-indexed.
Review Submissions will be reviewed by the technical committees based on selection criteria which include the following factors:
Student Paper Prize Papers considered for the student prize are expected to represent predominantly the work of the student. Papers that are co-authored by a student and his advisor are also eligible, provided the student is the principal author and the presenter. Please indicate during the electronic submission if you want your paper to be considered for the student paper prize and, in case of a co-authored paper, identify the student's name. Student papers will be subject to the same review process as regular papers and will be presented in the regular sessions. A jury will elect the best paper based on content and presentation. There will be a prize for the best student paper and an invitation to the banquet at which the winner will be officially announced.

Potential topics may be from all EMC related areas and may or may not be covered by the symposium topics that are listed below (e.g. History of EMC, EMC in Asia, etc.). Topical Meetings are intended to cover a specific area (e.g. IC EMC, Biomedical EMC, etc.) in a more autonomous fashion. When
