submissions
can only be accepted electronically via the ASIA PACIFIC EMC
2012 Submission Portal (Authors Portal).
The
IEEE MTT
International Microwave Symposium (IMS) paper submission system is the
official electronic paper submission portal for APEMC 2012
Instruction for APEMC2012 Final Paper Submission
1. Deadline
Thursday, March 15, 2012 (Singapore Time)
Your final
manuscript for the symposium proceedings and IEEE Xplore must be submitted by
Thursday, March 15, 2012,
and inclusion of your paper is conditional upon at least one author registering
to attend and present the paper at the conference.

Deadline: Thursday, March 15, 2012 (Singapore Time)
According to
IEEE conference policies, at least one author must register to attend and
present the paper at the conference. One registration entitles a delegate to
present maximum two papers.
3. Final Paper Preparation
The Final Manuscript should be
4-pages in PDF format
ONLY (File size must
NOT
exceed 2 MB)!
And your final submission must be
IEEE Xplore compatible
with proper
copyright transfer;
otherwise, it will NOT be accepted or published.
Paper
length: The length of
your final paper should be 4 pages exact.
Paper
template: Please follow strictly the WORD or LATex template for your final paper found at the APEMC2012 conference website. Otherwise your submission
will be rejected.
NO
page number: Please DO NOT add page numbers in your final
manuscript.
IEEE-Xplore
compatible PDF: Your manuscripts need to be IEEE-Xplore compatible
PDF file.
You will need the IEEE PDF eXpress to generate
IEEE Xplore compatible PDF files before you can submit it to the APEMC2012
paper portal. Enter apemc12x for
conference ID. Please carefully proofread the converted PDF file to eliminate any
formatting errors.
File
size: The size of the PDF file must NOT
exceed 2 MB.
Revision: You are
required to take into account the reviewers’ comments when preparing your final
paper. Some papers require Mandatory changes by TC chairs or reviewers – please
address them properly in the final paper; Otherwise, your final paper may be
rejected.

5. Copyright Form
Copyright transfer, which will be done
electronically, is required for all final papers.
During the submission of your final
manuscript, you will be redirected to the IEEE electronic copyright form
website (See Step 8 of the Final Paper Submission Guide). Without copyright transfer,
you paper cannot be published.
6. Withdrawal
Withdrawal of accepted papers after 15 March 2012 may result in the author being held
liable for any and all costs should the paper need to be redacted from the
Symposium proceedings.

IEEE Compliance Check
Final manuscripts (for accepted papers) must pass the IEEE compliance
check in order to appear in IEEEXplore
- Go
to the IEEE PDF eXpress website at http://www.pdf-express.org/.
The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful
hints, and access to technical support.
- Click
on "New User" option to create your own IEEE PDF eXpress account.
Authors will get email confirmation of account creation.
You will need the conference ID to do this. Conference ID
is: apemc12X
- If
you already have the PDF version of your paper, you can upload the PDF
file for checking. Submitted PDFs are checked for
IEEEXplore compatibility; source file(s) are converted to
IEEEXplore-compatible PDFs. The
checking result will be sent to you by
email from PDF eXpress. If the PDF fails, a PDF Check report will
be attached to the email. Authors will need to go their account
and click "Understanding the PDF Check Report" for solutions.
- Alternatively,
you can upload the source file (e.g. MS Word file) for online
conversion to PDF. Proofread the generated PDF file
thoroughly. There could be missing symbols, equations, graphs
and also errors reported.
