Paper Submission

All submissions can only be accepted electronically via the ASIA PACIFIC EMC 2010 Submission Portal (Authors Portal).

Authors are requested to submit:
a preliminary paper in English, not exceeding four pages including title, authors affiliation, abstract, figures, tables and references.

IEEE Compliance Check
Final manuscripts (for accepted papers) must pass the IEEE compliance check in order to appear in IEEEXplore

  • Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress website at http://www.pdf-express.org/.  The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
  • Click on "New User" option to create your own IEEE PDF eXpress account.  Authors will get email confirmation of account creation.  You will need the conference ID to do this.  Conference ID is: apemc10X
  • If you already have the PDF version of your paper, you can upload the PDF file for checking.  Submitted PDFs are checked for IEEEXplore compatibility; source file(s) are converted to IEEEXplore-compatible PDFs.  The checking result will be sent to you by email from PDF eXpress.  If the PDF fails, a PDF Check report will be attached to the email.  Authors will need to go their account and click "Understanding the PDF Check Report" for solutions.
  • Alternatively, you can upload the source file (e.g. MS Word file) for online conversion to PDF.  Proofread the generated PDF file thoroughly.  There could be missing symbols, equations, graphs and also errors reported.

The only accepted format is PDF.  Other formats like Word (*.doc) or PostScript (*.ps) cannot be accepted nor can we accept submission by hardcopy or fax.  During the process of submission (uploading the file), you will be asked for:

The contact e-mail address (very important!)

 Title of the paper

 Author's names and affiliation

A short statement about the novelty of this paper

Which Technical Committee is more appropriate

If you wish to enroll the paper for Student's contest
